“God’s word has given warning of the impending danger; let this be unheeded, and the Protestant world will learn what the purposes of Rome really are, only when it is too late to escape the snare. She is silently growing into power. . . . Stealthily and unsuspectedly she is strengthening her forces to further her own ends when the time shall come for her to strike. All that she desires is vantage ground, and this is already being given her. We shall soon see and shall feel what the purpose of the Roman element is. Whoever shall believe and obey the word of God will thereby incur reproach and persecution.— Great Controversy, p. 581

This prophetic statement has two major parts to it. The first of course has to do with how Rome will undo all that Protestantism had done to expose the evils of Catholicism. The other part has to do with how Rome has taken governments by her stealthy infiltrations. Everywhere you look you see Roman Architecture in government as well as church buildings the world over proving her deep seated influence. If we just look at the churches alone for a moment we can see that all of them have been infiltrated by the Roman priests by the fruits they display boldly. All of them, (even now the Seventh day Adventist church embracing ecumenism), are now embracing Catholic dogma, ritual and tradition as a brash show of loyalty. Everything from steeples on their roofs, Sunday keeping Sabbaths in their churches, Christmas celebrations in their halls,  to re-written Bibles on their pulpits is evidence they are Catholic to the core. In fact, the collective statements of all Protestant churches in 1999 alone proves Rome has gained supremacy in all the churches. This was done when a major denomination stepped up to declare Rome worthy to be their leader, and nary a pastor objected outside the remnant number.

Rick Warren: Protestants, Catholics Must Unite to Defend Life, Sex, Marriage – ‘We’re on the Same Team’ Feb 2015 Evangelical pastor Rick Warren, who leads the eighth largest church in America, Saddleback Church, and is the author of the hugely popular book The Purpose Driven Life, said that Protestants and Catholics must form a “unity of missions” to defend the sanctity of life, sex, and the family, stressing that, “If you love Jesus, we’re on the same team.”

Catholic and Protestants Unite Politically  Pope Francis needs to lead the world in confronting radical Islam, said the leader of approximately 600 million Protestants. Thomas Schirrmacher, chief theologian for the World Evangelical Alliance, declared this in an interview published Nov. 5, 2015. (Now in 2016) Schirrmacher’s and Pope Francis’s efforts have evidently not been in vain. Both churches now voice the same message: Merkel’s refugee policy has to change, the violence in the Middle East needs to end, and the persecution of thousands of Christians can’t be tolerated.

Pope Francis says it’s the devil who divides Protestants and Catholics

Pope Francis has described the division between the different denominations of the Church as the work of the devil.

“Division is the work of the Father of Lies, the Father of Discord, who does everything possible to keep us divided,” he said in a video message a ‘Celebration of Christian Unity’ event organised by the John 17 Movement in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday. The movement is named after the biblical passage in which Jesus prays for his disciples “that they may be one as we are one”.

Why Pope Francis’ push for unity is going into over-drive The more Christians are unified, the easier outreach to other faiths becomes.

CAR: Pope Francis calls for unity between Catholics and Protestants His meeting with Evangelical Christians was another highlight of his stay in CAR. Speaking to the leaders of Evangelical churches gathered at FATEB (the Evangelical School of Theology), the Pope’s speech focused on unity, mutual respect and collaboration.

The Vatican has indeed gained much of its power back, and as Sister White predicted, she did so by first undoing all that Protestantism accomplished over the years in both the churches and the courts of the land. Soon she will enforce her Sunday Laws lending even more credence to the truth behind Ellen White’s writings. This movement of Rome will spread far and wide as prophecied but not as fast as it will when the remnant people step up to do their created duty. The prophecied cry is starting as we speak, and soon it will swell into a loud cry wherein Rome will have no choice but to do as was prophecied of her.
